How to save ping report in text file ?

As we know ping utility is very useful for testing reach ability of network devices in network. Ping command is used through CMD (Command Prompt ).  

Some time we have to require or need to save that ping report in txt file for future use . Today in  this tutorial we will learn "How to save ping report in text file" ?

Step 1: -

· Open the command prompt from start menu or from RUN . Just type CMD in Run & press Enter button.

Step 2 :-

On command prompt type  - ping space ip address >>where want to save \file name with .txt

example - 

            

        ping 8.8.8.8>>documents\reports.txt

Here - 

• ping is a command
• 8.8.8.8 is an IP address
• documents is a path
• reports.txt is a file name.
