Yes it is true that the serial number of the laptop is written on the back side of the laptop body.

But if for some reason it has disappeared, then what?

Today I will share a small trick with you, by which you can find the serial number of your laptop through command prompt.

Step 1 :-

• Open Command Prompt (CMD).
• Type WMIC BIOS GET SERIALNUMBER and press enter.

Command :-  WMIC BIOS GET SERIALNUMBER

After using this command, the serial number of your laptop will be shown. This is the number that is mentioned in the bios of your laptop.
