Microsoft has blocked macros from running because the source of this file is untrusted :-
Many times there is a problem with the macro in a file. There can be many reasons for this. Since macro sometimes also contains external links which is not correct from the point of security, still we have to open such files with great care.
I come to the point, if you have come to this post after reading the heading of the topic, then I understand that there is some file which is not working properly and that file has a macro. In such times, one has to go to the solution very carefully.
In my case , I was working on excel but when clicking on macro button then this error is coming .
What is the Solution ?
I am sharing some steps with you, you can try on your file. This kind of problem comes when we download a file from somewhere. Macro needs to be unblocked in such files.
- Right-click on the file,
- choose Properties,
- and then select the Unblock checkbox on the General tab.
